Spirit Valley are an Australian psychedelic post-punk duo based in Amsterdam, NL made up of long time friends Dave Tomlinson and Chris Stabback.

After forming in 2010, their brand of raw, explosive psych combined with a ceaseless DIY touring ethos quickly gained them a reputation as a formidable live band that took them across the globe playing shows throughout Australia, New Zealand, America, Europe and the UK, as well as supporting the likes of Acid Mothers Temple, Cosmonauts, Sonic Jesus, NONN, Ulrika Spacek, Dead Vibrations, Buzz Kull, Los Tones and many more..

Their second LP ‘Negatives’, released in August 2017 through Fuzz Club Records (UK), see’s the pair expand from their doomy, psych blues origins towards the realm of post-punk and synth-wave. As the titles suggests, the album also marks a new stage in the bands development by being the first project they had recorded, mixed and produced themselves, and exhibits pulsing dance-floor-ready psych rock that blurs the line between the dark fuzz of Dead Skeletons, the warped synths of Moon Duo and the gravelly post-punk croons of Interpol or The Chameleons.

After taking a brief hiatus from the stage, the enigmatic 2-piece continue to habitually re-invent themselves as their constant thirst for sonic exploration takes them deeper into a world of synth driven post-punk inspired by bands like Suicide and zZz's as well as continuing their experimentation into DIY recording and home production.
